Panel fault signal.

The fire-alarm panel reports a fault condition — either a supervisory signal (a closed or tampered valve, low water / air pressure, low tank level: the suppression side may not perform) or a trouble signal (a device or loop fault, ground fault, loss of AC power, a failing panel battery: the detection side may not perform). Both mean the system may not do its job in a fire, so both are surfaced and referred to the licensed provider. The supervisory / trouble distinction is kept internal; to the customer it reads as one panel fault signal.

Preconditions
The panel's supervisory and trouble relays are mapped from the fire-alarm panel monitoring interface (relay board / dry contacts / BMS). The classification of each mapped point (supervisory vs trouble, and its meaning) is agreed with the licensed provider per panel make / model.
Human role
Primary — Keedian reads the panel state and raises the alarm; the service is the customer's licensed fire / life-safety provider's. Operators classify the condition (supervisory vs trouble, internally), refer it with a recommended action, and retain the evidence. Keedian never acts in place of the certified system.
Action plan
(1) Read the condition and classify it internally — supervisory (suppression side: valve, pressure, water) or trouble (detection side: wiring, power, battery, loop). (2) Attribute it to the specific point / zone and include the condition and its meaning in the referral. (3) Refer it to the customer's licensed fire / life-safety provider with a recommended action, and retain the record as compliance evidence. (4) Do NOT treat this as a fire-response action — the certified panel and its central-station monitoring remain the acting channel for any actual fire alarm.
Escalation
(1) A supervisory condition on the suppression side (a closed / tampered valve, low pressure, low tank level) → refer out of cycle; the system may not suppress a fire in this state. (2) A trouble condition that disables detection over a zone or loop → refer out of cycle. (3) The same condition recurs after a provider visit → flag it for a deeper provider engagement rather than repeated one-off referrals.
Prevention
(1) Confirm the supervisory / trouble point mapping and its classification with the licensed provider at onboarding before arming the alarm. (2) Keep a per-building log of recurring supervisory / trouble conditions so a chronic fault surfaces for the provider.
