Repeated discharge resets.
The rack's discharge protection auto-resets repeatedly, or trips recur after the configured auto-reset — a rack running on the edge of its protection band that masks a developing fault behind automatic recovery.

- Preconditions
- Rack controller exposes trip/reset events and Disch Auto Rst; feed health confirmed; observation window commissioned per rack.
- Human role
- Primary when a dispatch is required; AI detects the reset pattern and correlates.
- Action plan
-
(1) Confirm the repeated-reset pattern from trip/reset events over the commissioned observation window.
(2) Do not treat a successful auto-reset as resolution — a repeating cycle is a developing fault.
(3) Correlate with discharge-pressure trend and condenser state for the underlying cause.
(4) Dispatch the refrigeration vendor with the reset history before a reset fails to recover.
- Escalation
-
(1) Reset frequency rising, or a reset that fails to recover → urgent dispatch and store/customer-ops alert.
(2) Repeated resets on the same rack across periods → hardware/controls review candidate.
- Prevention
-
(1) Alert on the reset pattern rather than the individual trip so a masked developing fault is surfaced.
(2) Calibrate Disch Auto Rst and the observation window per rack; review recurring-reset racks at the MBR.
