Discharge trip approach.
Rack discharge pressure is approaching the configured trip threshold — the rack is close to a protective shutdown that would take every case it feeds offline at once. A lead-time warning to act before the trip.

Asset lifespan
- Preconditions
- Rack controller exposes discharge pressure and the trip threshold (Disch Trip Stpt); values calibrated per rack; feed health confirmed.
- Human role
- Primary — a dispatch or urgent store communication is typically required; AI validates and correlates.
- Action plan
-
(1) Confirm the approach against the configured trip threshold and its trend, not a single reading.
(2) Correlate condenser and staging state for a controllable cause and attempt a remote correction where exposed.
(3) Prepare the rack-loss contingency (product at risk across the rack) while the correction is attempted.
(4) Dispatch the refrigeration vendor with lead time before the trip, evidence attached.
- Escalation
-
(1) Pressure continues to climb toward the trip after remote action → urgent dispatch and store/customer-ops alert; do not hold for the MBR.
(2) Approach recurs on the same rack → controls/condenser review candidate.
- Prevention
-
(1) Calibrate the trip threshold and its approach margin per rack so the warning gives usable lead time.
(2) Maintain condenser and staging health to keep normal operation clear of the trip band.
