High suction pressure sustained.

The rack holds suction (low-side) pressure above its active operating target for longer than its delay. High suction raises evaporating temperature across the rack and starves case temperatures on every circuit it feeds.

Action plan
(1) Confirm the sustained condition against the active suction setpoint and High Suct Dely, not a transient. (2) Correlate rack-wide case temperatures — high suction that is starving cases is a product-protection issue. (3) Check controllable causes exposed by the controller (compressor staging, valve position, load) and correct remotely where available. (4) If unresolved, dispatch the refrigeration vendor with the pressure and case-temperature evidence.
Escalation
(1) Multiple cases on the rack drifting warm together → escalate the rack, not the individual cases; alert store/customer ops. (2) Remote correction fails → dispatch within SLA with correlated evidence.
Prevention
(1) Calibrate the suction setpoint and High Suct Dely per rack so a real excursion is distinguished from normal load swings. (2) Review compressor staging and valve behavior at cadence on racks with recurring high suction.
