Low suction pressure sustained.

The rack holds suction (low-side) pressure below its active operating target for longer than its delay. Persistent low suction wastes energy, can flag a starving or valve/charge issue, and stresses compressors over time.

Preconditions
Rack controller exposes suction pressure and the active setpoint with Low Suct Dely; values calibrated per rack; feed health confirmed.

Action plan
(1) Confirm the sustained low condition against the active setpoint and Low Suct Dely. (2) Distinguish a control-target issue from a starving/valve/charge cause using the controller state. (3) Correct a controllable target/staging cause remotely where exposed. (4) If a mechanical cause is implied, scope a dispatch to the refrigeration vendor with the evidence.
Escalation
(1) Low suction paired with rising compressor cycling or run hours → asset-protection dispatch within SLA. (2) Recurring low suction on the same rack → controls/mechanical review candidate.
Prevention
(1) Calibrate the suction setpoint and Low Suct Dely per rack so normal low-load operation is not scored as a fault. (2) Review racks that persistently run below target for staging or charge issues at cadence.
