Suction setpoint deviation.

Rack suction pressure persistently deviates from the active controller setpoint in either direction, so the rack is not holding the operating target it is commissioned to — a control-health signal distinct from a single high or low excursion.

Preconditions
Rack controller exposes suction pressure and the active setpoint; deviation band and persistence commissioned per rack; feed health confirmed.
Human role
Secondary review after AI validation; primary when a controls change or dispatch is required.
Action plan
(1) Confirm persistent deviation from the active setpoint over the commissioned window, in either direction. (2) Separate a floating/mis-set control target from a mechanical inability to hold the target. (3) Correct a controllable setpoint/staging issue remotely where exposed. (4) If the rack cannot hold a correct target, scope a dispatch with the deviation evidence.
Escalation
(1) Deviation coinciding with case-temperature drift across the rack → escalate as a product-protection path. (2) Persistent inability to hold target after a controls correction → mechanical review candidate.
Prevention
(1) Commission the setpoint, deviation band, and persistence per rack so a floating target is caught before it starves or wastes. (2) Review racks with chronic deviation for control tuning at the MBR.
