Action plan: (1) Confirm persistent deviation from the active setpoint over the commissioned window, in either direction. (2) Separate a floating/mis-set control target from a mechanical inability to hold the target. (3) Correct a controllable setpoint/staging issue remotely where exposed. (4) If the rack cannot hold a correct target, scope a dispatch with the deviation evidence.
Escalation: (1) Deviation coinciding with case-temperature drift across the rack → escalate as a product-protection path. (2) Persistent inability to hold target after a controls correction → mechanical review candidate.
