Setpoint out of corporate range.

Current setpoint is outside the tolerance range around the corporate setpoint policy for the zone and time of day. A single alarm covers any out-of-range condition; the tolerance range defines how much deviation is acceptable before firing.

Action plan
(1) Auto-revert to the corporate setpoint. (2) Cross-check Temperature Compliance — was the override masking a real comfort issue? (3) If the override pattern recurs at the same site, investigate root cause (is the corporate setpoint wrong for that site's climate, layout, or occupancy?).
Escalation
(1) Same site exceeds the override threshold > 5 events in 7 days → pattern review at the MBR; staff training or policy adjustment may be needed. (2) Override coincides with a Temperature Compliance failure → reclassify as a real comfort problem; do not auto-revert; investigate equipment instead. (3) Multiple sites in the same region show the same override pattern → flag for corporate-policy review; the policy may not match local conditions. (4) Restriction of manual thermostat access proposed → requires explicit client authorization before implementing.
Prevention
(1) Corporate-policy refresh routine when seasons change — setpoint policy that ignores local climate drives habitual overrides regardless of staff discipline. (2) Override allow-list per staff role — define who can override and under what conditions; reduces accidental overrides by non-managers. (3) Tolerance-range calibration per zone type — high-traffic spaces tolerate less deviation than back-of-house; one-size-fits-all tolerance triggers spurious alarms.
