Standard connectors — Green Button, EnergyStar Portfolio Manager, and major utility APIs — pull interval consumption and cost straight from the utility, with no on-site hardware. Normalizes each utility's billing format and reconciles the pulled data against meter telemetry.
Impact: Brings utility spend and interval consumption into the platform without metering a single site — the billing data arrives through standard connectors and is reconciled against any meter telemetry already on site.
What it solves: Where a customer wants spend and interval data without metering every site, Keedian pulls it directly from the utility through standard connectors (Green Button, Portfolio Manager, and major utility APIs). It is a software data-integration — analogous to CMMS integration, and separate from the physical Data Enabler that meters circuits — that normalizes each utility's billing format and reconciles the pulled data against any meter telemetry already on site. Previously bundled as an Essential capability; offered as an add-on so customers pay for it only where utility-side data access is wanted.
These are the operational metrics this add-on monitors and alarms on. Keedian surfaces them and, where the contract includes managed service, triages them; acting on the physical asset stays with you and your vendors.
The core metrics are summarized below. Full methodology, thresholds, diagnosis steps, and escalation criteria are in the Metrics Catalog.
Each metric includes definition, detection logic, diagnosis steps, recommended actions, escalation criteria, and prevention controls. Thresholds are reference values to be calibrated per client.
View Metrics Catalog →Interval consumption and cost land in the platform per site straight from the utility, normalized across billing formats and reconciled against on-site meters where present. Expected (pending validation).
The data feed is monitored on the same 24/7 basis as the rest of the contract — a broken connector or a gap in the utility pull is surfaced and worked so the spend and consumption data stays complete.
Add-on charges apply on top of the base subscription. This page states which charge components apply; the product subscription lives in the pricing catalog.
