Add-ons catalog.

Every add-on Keedian offers, one per row. Each is either Domain-specific — it belongs to a product domain (HVAC, Refrigeration, Lighting, Energy) — or Transversal, applying across any contracted product. Customer profiles, products, and tiers activate add-ons on top of their base offering. Click a name to open its detail page (description, hardware, value levers, pricing, and related capabilities).

Add-on Type Domain
Defrost Cycle Monitoring & Optimization
Monitors each refrigerated case's defrost cycles from the controller — whether a cycle starts on schedule, terminates on its configured condition within its expected duration, and lets the case recover. Catches a missed, run-long, or unterminated defrost before it ices the coil and pushes the case out of band.

refrigeration
Refrigeration Rack Monitoring & Protection
Monitors the centralized refrigeration rack from its controller — discharge and suction pressure against commissioned limits, protection trips and resets, and the pump-down sequence. A rack fault affects every case the rack feeds at once, so catching it early protects the whole rack's product.
Domain-specific
refrigeration
Food Safety Compliance (HACCP/FDA)
Auditable temperature reporting per asset, critical event traceability, and cold-chain regulatory documentation. Food safety compliance ready for inspection.
Domain-specific
refrigeration
Foodservice Equipment Monitoring
Extends monitoring to critical non-refrigeration assets: ovens, fryers, salamander broilers, deli stations. Reduces downtime in hot food and deli operations.
Domain-specific
refrigeration
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitoring
Tracks CO2, VOCs, and PM2.5 to validate ventilation effectiveness and support employee/customer wellness reporting. Useful for compliance with stricter indoor air standards.
Domain-specific
hvac
Air Curtain Monitoring & Control
Monitors and controls entrance air curtains — on/off state, runtime, and activation compliance — so the thermal barrier is actually running when doors are open.
Domain-specific
hvac
Restroom Odor Monitoring
Tracks restroom air quality (VOC / odor index) and flags spikes so cleaning is dispatched before customers notice.
Domain-specific
hvac
HVAC Refrigerant Monitoring & Compliance
Predictive charge-loss and refrigerant-leak indicators on refrigerant-bearing HVAC equipment, plus auditable tracking of charge, leak events, and recovery. Covers rooftop/package units, split systems, heat pumps, and chillers where compatible telemetry exists. Supports EPA Section 608 / state-level refrigerant regulations.
Domain-specific
hvac
Refrigeration Refrigerant Monitoring & Compliance
Predictive charge-loss and refrigerant-leak indicators on commercial-refrigeration systems, plus auditable tracking of charge, leak events, and recovery. Covers racks, condensing units, walk-ins, coolers, and display cases where compatible telemetry exists. Supports EPA Section 608 / state-level refrigerant regulations.

Chiller Plant Monitoring
Monitoring for the central cooling plant (Chiller Plant) — chilled-water and cooling-tower ΔT, operational-sequence compliance, and plant efficiency (kW per ton) where the plant is metered. Instruments the building's single largest cooling load and surfaces its operational metrics and alarms; it does not control the plant.

hvac
VAV Terminal Monitoring & Control
Per-box monitoring and control for all-air office floors — one AHU feeding many variable-air-volume boxes. Adds deep per-terminal visibility (airflow delivery, damper saturation, minimum ventilation, loop stability) and control that scales by tier: visibility and ad-hoc command at Essential, managed alarm ops at Managed, proactive device-level control at Optimized. Installs and operates the terminal controller — it does not replace defective field devices.
Domain-specific
hvac
Air Handler (AHU) Monitoring & Control
Deep monitoring and control for the office air handler that feeds an all-air floor — supply-air temperature compliance, duct static pressure (reset to follow the VAV boxes), fan/VFD performance, filter differential pressure, and chilled-water valve/coil performance, plus economizer effectiveness where an outdoor-air damper exists. Control scales by tier. Installs and operates the plant controller — it does not replace defective field devices.

Emergency Lighting Compliance
Auditable monthly self-test reporting, battery health monitoring, and code compliance evidence (NFPA 101, OSHA) for emergency egress lighting. Replaces manual monthly walkthroughs.
Domain-specific
lighting
Exterior Lighting Photocell Control
Astronomical clock + photocell-driven control of parking-lot, canopy, signage, and facade lighting. Eliminates manual schedule updates for daylight savings, seasonal shifts, and regional variation across the fleet.

Utility Data Integration
Standard connectors — Green Button, EnergyStar Portfolio Manager, and major utility APIs — pull interval consumption and cost straight from the utility, with no on-site hardware. Normalizes each utility's billing format and reconciles the pulled data against meter telemetry.
Domain-specific
energy
Tariff Optimization Program
Continuous tariff analysis with rate-schedule recommendations and utility-incentive enrollment management.
Domain-specific
energy
Utility Bill Audit & Recovery
Automated audit of utility bills against tariff schedules and meter data. Identifies billing errors, incorrect rate classes, and overcharges. Manages refund recovery.
Domain-specific
energy
Demand Response Aggregation
Enrolls eligible sites and controllable loads in utility demand response programs at the portfolio level. Manages event response, post-event verification, and incentive collection. HVAC and other climate equipment are the primary curtailment lever.
Domain-specific
energy
Renewable Energy Integration
Integration with on-site solar, battery storage, or PPA contracts. Tracks generation vs consumption, validates PPA invoicing, supports renewable energy certificates (RECs) accounting.
Domain-specific
energy
Vendor Performance Management
Tracks vendor response time, first-visit resolution rate, and cost per ticket across any contracted product.
Transversal All products
Cross-Asset Portfolio Benchmarking
Compare stores across all contracted products. Identifies outliers in consumption, failures, and operating cost.
Transversal All products
BMS / EMS Integration Extension
Extend the integration to additional systems not included in the product's base Model B.

Custom CMMS Integration
Deep integration with your CMMS beyond the standard.

Data as a Service
Programmatic access to Keedian's normalized operational data for your analytics, BI, or data lake.

Ad-Hoc Dashboards & Reporting
Custom dashboards and one-off reports built to your spec, on top of the data Keedian already collects.
Transversal All products
Refrigeration Monitoring
Temperature and operating-status monitoring for office cafeteria, pantry, and vending refrigeration — alarms on warm cases and outages so food-safety risk is caught before stock is lost.
Transversal All products
UPS & Continuity Monitoring
Monitoring of the electrical-continuity chain — UPS and standby generators, with the ATS and main switchboard as supporting signals — so a backup that is not ready surfaces before the outage it was meant to cover, not during it, and the site stays online: an office building's tenants and critical rooms, or a bank branch's ATMs, teller and core-banking systems, security, and comms. Monitors readiness ("will the backup take the load, and for how long?"), not just "broken now." Continuity links to the other monitoring add-ons for the layers they already cover — Chiller Plant Monitoring (critical-environment cooling), Fire Detection & Suppression Monitoring, and Vertical Transport Monitoring — which read alongside continuity but stay separate add-ons.
Transversal All products
Vertical Transport Monitoring
Monitoring of elevators and escalators — operating status, fault codes, and out-of-service events — so a stoppage is detected and routed to the maintenance provider the moment it happens.
Transversal All products
Fire Detection & Suppression Monitoring
Monitoring of fire detection and suppression systems — panel status, supervisory and trouble signals, and test/inspection records — so a supervisory fault or a missed inspection is caught and routed to the life-safety provider.
